Department: Retail Merchandise - Hockey Lodge

Reports Directly To: Warehouse Manager

Position Summary/Description: Builds a jersey from blank to fully lettered/ numbered player/ custom order for store/ web stock, fans, corporate partners, team staff.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Assist in stitching/ sewing of jerseys as needed.
  • Take pride in an organized, clean and safe workspace.
  • Any other tasks as requested by the Retail Warehouse Manager.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to follow precise directions in a timely manner

  • Strong time-management skills with ability to prioritize service and requests with other related duties within retail environment
  • Available to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and/or holidays

Work Conditions

Department: Retail Merchandise - Hockey Lodge

Reports Directly To: Retail Store Manager

Position Summary/Description: The Retail Sales Associate position is instrumental in supporting all aspects of retail store operations including specific store duties and projects including but not limited to cashiering, stock, size and straighten merchandise as well as offering world-class customer service.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Professionally greet and assist customers with the selection of retail merchandise and apparel selections, questions and sales of Wild merchandise in a high-volume, service-oriented retail environment
  • Accurate and timely processing of all sales transactions on register or point-of-sale terminal including sales, exchanges and returns
  • Assist in stocking merchandise on sales floor, refreshing inventory on shelves, assisting with displays or promotions, and special orders
  • Professionally represent and promote Minnesota Wild Brand to all customers, fans and guests.
  • Help and assist in maintaining a professional store and sales floor appearance ensuring merchandise is properly displayed on floor
  • Must be able to work game days/nights and key events such as Summer Sale, Season Ticket Member Events, MN State Fair, State Tournaments and other events as needed
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

  • High School Diploma

Knowledge & Experience

  • Retail sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to assist customers in the selection of merchandise and apparel, and answer related questions and inquires
  • Passionate about providing exceptional levels of service ensuring quality retail experience for every fan, guest and customer
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, support and follow company and store policies, procedures and practices
  • Ability to use computer sales terminal with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with retail management systems and/or inventory databases, experience with CounterPoint a plus

Position Summary/Description: The retail warehouse team is the epicenter of action within the retail environment here at the Minnesota Wild. The Hockey Lodge is committed to creating a Greater State of Hockey and the retail warehouse is where it all begins. The retail warehouse handles all of the logistical aspects of the operation: receiving new and exciting merchandise, allocation of merchandise to the arena store locations, replenishing stock for upcoming games and during games, fulfilling web orders. The list goes on. There is never a dull moment in this extremely fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Ensure merchandise is received in a timely manner. Merchandise that is processed in a timely manner allows retail to get the product on the shelves in stores, featured online, and help give a boost to retail sales.
  • Maintain inventory control. Ensure inventory accuracy when transferring merchandise to store locations, receiving items, and spot-checking popular merchandise. Doing this will help our retail buyer know if we need to order more product, either the same item or something similar in popularity.
  • Supporting the retail stores on all fronts. Allocating new merchandise to the various locations, pulling store order requests, helping with events or sales.
  • As a warehouse associate, you will interact with all aspects of the business. Your primary interactions will be retail related, but you will also interact with corporate departments, team operations members, players, and web based customers.
  • You will be on your feet for long stretches of time, lift heavy merchandise, and utilize tall ladders; stock picker lifts sometimes all in one shift.
